Our showjumping girls started the year off well at the Dannevirke Premier show in early January. In the pony ring, our 2025 Head of Equestrian, Zara von Dadelszen, won the Pony 1.10m and new student Georgie Coop, pictured*, won the opening Pony 1.15m. Tessa Moffett and Lily Kent also competed, producing great results and placings. In the horse ring, Hannah Roil had great success, coming second in the Junior rider class.
Most of these girls then headed onto the Gisborne Jumping Show, where they were most successful. Georgie Coop took out the Pony Grand Prix, Lily Kent won the Pony 1.10m and 1.20m, Zara von Dadelszen won the Pony 1.10m on the final day, and new student Iyve Speirs took out the Pony 1.10m – 1.15m.
Most recently, Fenella Train, Eve and Hazel Hunter all had great success at the Dannevirke A & P show. All three girls produced top three results throughout their Working Hunter classes.
