Congratulations to our 2022 Sports Prefect, Harriet Lynch, who recently took out the NZ Couriers Student Contribution to Sport award at the annual Sport Hawke's Bay Secondary Schools Sports Awards. This award recognises Harriet's commitment over a number of years to both playing and coaching across Athletics, Cross Country, Hockey, Swimming and Touch Rugby.

Isobel Taylor and Karen Holder were also recognised as recipients of the Mediaworks Service to Secondary School Sport.

Isobel's commitment to Netball for 10+ years of service were acknowledged, and we are extremely grateful for her dedication to the netball programme here at Iona.

Karen Holder was recognised for her service to Hockey for 10+ years, and again we are so appreciative of everything Karen has done for hockey at the College.
